Chaney Enterprises’ team members answered the call to help the Southern Maryland Food Bank when the Food Bank had to close its doors. The Food Bank is back in business, and stopped by to pick up 200 pounds of food that was collected from many plants and offices. That 200 pounds will help out nine families, according to Brenda DiCarlo, pictured on the right, who joined her volunteer George, center, to pick up the Chaney Enterprises donation. Helping gather the foods for loadup is Danielle Johnson, left, from the Land Department. Chaney Enterprises has committed to continuing the non-perishable foods collection to share with Southern Maryland Food Bank and Foodlinks of Anne Arundel County.
