Francis "Hall" Chaney, Ill
Chief Executive Officer
Hall Chaney serves as Chief Executive Officer of Chaney Enterprises. Hall started his career outside of the family business as Project Manager at Reliable Contracting and rejoined the family business in 2008. Hall worked throughout the company and began leading the day to day business in 2016 as President. In 2019, he was promoted to CEO.
Hall graduated from the Robert H. Smith School of Business with a Bachelor of Science degree in logistics and supply chain management. He also holds a Master’s degree in Real Estate Development from Colvin Institute at the University of Maryland.
Hall has the honor of being involved with many industry organizations and is passionate about his engagement with the Chaney Foundation and Chaney Cares, the company’s unique approach to charitable giving for our people, our environment, and our community.
Ryan Jacoby
Chief Operating Officer
Ryan Jacoby joined Chaney Enterprises in 2022 as Chief Operating Officer. He has over 27 years of leadership experience in the cement, aggregates, hot mix asphalt, and ready-mix concrete industries.
Jacoby started his career in 1995 working in the specialty products division for Lehigh Cement. In 1998, he transitioned to cement sales in the Central and Eastern Pennsylvania markets where he was eventually named Specialty Products Manager. From 2011 until 2022, Jacoby served as Vice President/General Manager in multiple market areas for Heidelberg Materials including Vancouver, British Columbia; Phoenix, Arizona; and San Luis Obispo, California.
Jacoby graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Ursinus College and a MBA from Alvernia University.
Daniel Kurek
Chief Financial Officer
Daniel Kurek joined Chaney Enterprises in 2010 and serves as Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for the company’s Accounting, Human Resources, Marketing and IT departments.
Kurek received graduate degrees from the Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School, including an MBA in Finance. He is also a 2020 graduate of the Harvard Business Analytics Program and a Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP).
Kurek is an active member of several industry organizations; currently serving on the Boards of the ABC Chesapeake Shores Chapter, Construction Financial Management Association Maryland, and the Chaney Foundation.
Elizabeth Goodwin
General Counsel
Beth joined Chaney Enterprises in 2022 as General Counsel. Prior to joining Chaney Enterprises, Beth started her career at a global law firm in New York City in the mergers and acquisitions practice group where she represented corporate clients and private equity funds in domestic and global mergers, acquisitions and equity investments in a broad range of industries.
Beth received her law degree from George Washington University Law School and she also holds a bachelor's degree in Economics and Finance. Beth is also an active member of the Chaney Foundation.
