The Information Technology Project Manager is responsible for leading, planning, coordinating, and implementing enterprise projects and designated department projects according to the identified specifications, deadlines, and budgets. The project manager drives the operationalization and execution of all assigned projects and follows the established project management methodology to define project charter and objectives, create schedules, and oversight throughout the entire project.
Essential Functions:
Manages assigned IT projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope of project.
Develops, maintains, and revises proposals for assigned projects including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, timelines, funding, and staffing.
Sets and tracks project milestones; manages and accounts for unforeseen delays, then realigns schedules and expectations as needed.
Establishes and implements project communication plans, providing status updates to affected staff and stakeholders.
Collects, analyzes, and summarizes information and trends as needed to prepare project status reports.
Organizing and managing all phases of the project to ensure delivery of strategic value of the projects.
Assembling and coordinating project team members; assigning individual responsibilities.
Research and evaluate hardware and software technology options and weigh the cost/benefit analysis when making recommendations to the company.
Update and maintain all production technologies ensuring proper maintenance and installation.
