Chaney Enterprises’ Delivery Professionals Surpass Top Spots in Company Roadeo
Chaney Enterprises held its yearly roadeo and picnic May 14, letting their delivery professional’s show off their talents. A total of 13 employees from Chaney Enterprises, C&D Concrete, and Rowe Materials competed for the top spots in the Mixer and Dump Truck categories.
Concrete Delivery Professional (CDP) Mike Jordahl from the Hollywood Plant took first place, with CDPs Lawrence Gross from the Waldorf Plant and Mike Johnson from the Bestgate Plant taking second and third place.
In the C&D Concrete mixer category, CDP Jim Berryhill took first place, with CDP Tom Grossnickle in second place and CDP Gene Collins in third place.
CDP Lewis Thompson competed unopposed in the Rowe mixer category and received high scores.
In the dump truck category, Aggregate Delivery Professional (ADP) Eduardo Morris took first place, followed ADPs Tyrone Brown and Susan O’Steen taking second and third place.
The winners of the roadeo will compete at the Maryland State Truck Driving Championship. Chaney Enterprises’ delivery professionals who place in that competition advance to the National Ready Mix Concrete Association’s national roadeo.
