Chaney Cares Hosts 26th Annual Chaney Memorial Golf Tournament

On Monday, May 5, Chaney Enterprises welcomed supporters from across the region to the beautiful Queenstown Harbor Golf Course for the 26th Annual Chaney Memorial Golf Tournament. This beloved annual event brought together employees, partners, and community members for a day of friendly competition, all for a great cause.

This year’s tournament raised an impressive $175,000 in support of the Chaney Cares Foundation’s initiative to build a new Boys & Girls Club in Lothian, Maryland. The new facility will be a part of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Annapolis & Anne Arundel County, helping to provide a safe, positive environment for children to learn, grow, and thrive. With this latest contribution, the Chaney Cares Foundation has now raised nearly $9 million of the $15 million goal needed to make this critical project a reality.

“We are deeply grateful to everyone who came out to support this important mission,” said Francis Hall Chaney, III, CEO of Chaney Enterprises. “This new Boys & Girls Club will have a lasting impact on families in southern Anne Arundel County, and we’re proud to be one step closer to bringing it to life.”

Tournament Highlights

The sold-out tournament was split between the River and Lakes courses, and the competition was fierce, yet fun-spirited throughout the day. Master Builders claimed 1st place on the River Course, while Vulcan Materials took top honors on the Lakes Course. Chaney also celebrated a handful of winners for the longest drive, closest to the pin, and putting contests.

Congratulations to all our winners and a huge thank you to every team who participated!
