News - Chaney Enterprises Promotes Mike Hockenberry to Regional Concrete Operations Manager
Chaney Enterprises, a ready-mix concrete and aggregates supplier, today announced the promotion of Mike Hockenberry to Regional Concrete Operations Manager for their southern Maryland region.
In his new role, Hockenberry will be responsible for the productivity and overall operations of the Concrete Batch Plants within Chaney’s southern Maryland region. He will hire, train, develop, and motivate employees to accomplish company goals and objectives while coordinating personnel to ensure the best overall use and productivity.
A resident of Southern Maryland, Hockenberry joined Chaney in 1992, serving in many different roles over his nearly 30-year tenure. For the past 15 years, Hockenberry has worked as Chaney’s assistant technical services manager.
“Mike is a key team member at Chaney Enterprises. He is extremely knowledgeable with our southern Maryland personnel, customers, and market,” said Randy Wallace, Vice President of Concrete Operations at Chaney Enterprises. “I’m excited to see how Mike’s combination of technical skills, expertise, and passion for the Chaney culture improves our concrete operations in southern Maryland.”
