CDL Driver (Dump Truck & Concrete Mixer) -
Chaney Enterprises is currently accepting applications for experienced CDL Drivers to join our team as Concrete Delivery Professionals and Aggregate Delivery Professionals. Delivery Professionals are responsible for the proper delivery of concrete and/or sand and gravel products to our customers and for the safe and proper care and maintenance of equipment assigned to the delivery professional.
Must have a Class B CDL (with airbrakes), a clean driving record and a good employment history. Must be able to pass a DOT physical and work Saturdays as required. Must be able to climb and be able to lift 50 to 100 lbs. pounds several times daily. Must be able to read, write and interpret directions/read a map.
CONCRETE MIXER DRIVER -
C&D Concrete is currently accepting applications for experienced CDL Drivers to join our team as Concrete Delivery Professionals (CDP). CDP's are responsible for the proper delivery of concrete products to our customers and for the safe and proper care and maintenance of concrete equipment assigned to the delivery professional.
Must have a Class B CDL (with airbrakes), a clean driving record and a good employment history. Must be able to pass a DOT physical and work Saturdays as required. Must be able to climb and be able to lift up to 100 pounds several times daily. Must be able to read, write and interpret directions/read a map.
DIESEL MECHANIC -
We are seeking a qualified individual to join our team and be responsible for the service and repair of our fleet of vehicles and heavy equipment in accordance with company standards.
The mechanic will be responsible for the diagnostic and the repair of mechanical, engine and electrical irregularities that will include: drive train, brakes, suspensions, air conditioning and heating systems, etc. This position requires that you have your own tools normally associated with the troubleshooting and repair of diesel engines. The mechanic will work out of our Annapolis maintenance shop and travel to other facilities as required.
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 2 years experience as a trained diesel mechanic. Must have a high school education or equivalent, have a current driver’s license, a good driving record and pass a DOT physical. Class B CDL a plus.
CONCRETE PLANT MANAGER/QUEENSTOWN (C&D CONCRETE) -
We have an immediate opening for a Concrete Plant Manager in our Queenstown facility. Primary duties include overseeing the plant operations for the concrete facility. This includes but is not limited to coordinating and monitoring workload, overseeing drivers, yard/batch operators and any other direct reports. The Concrete Plant Manager hires, trains, develops, supervises and motivates employees towards accomplishing departmental and company goals and objectives. Assist sales and customer service/dispatch in servicing customers, coordinating schedules, etc. Position requires an individual with a high school diploma or equivalent (college a plus) and experience in concrete operations and delivery. Other job requirements include prior supervisory/management experience, working computer knowledge, knowledge of all government regulations pertaining to health, safety and the environment. Must be able to work Saturdays.
PROJECT MANAGER -
We have an opportunity for an experienced professional to serve as a Project Manager in our Land Development and Environmental Department. The Project Manager will manage land development projects, land acquisition and field operations in support of land and development operations.
Responsible for monitoring all land use projects and activities from acquisition through the mining process to final development and sale. Tasks may include but are not limited to: research and development, reviewing and renewing permits, easements, maintaining records, field supervision, ensuring environmental compliance and monitoring costs to ensure cost effective completion of projects. This position will interact with company personnel, government officials, realtors, engineers and other business personnel to provide and obtain information.
Qualified candidates must meet the following requirements:
· Must have a Bachelor’s degree.
· Experience in land use development and acquisition.
· Knowledge of government agencies and environmental regulations.
· Must be highly organized and detail oriented, possessing the ability to multi-task.
· Must have strong verbal/written business communication skills.
· Must possess professional attitude and appearance.
· Must be able to work extended hours and travel to sites, attend meetings, hearings etc., as required.
· Must have initiative and be able to achieve objectives with minimal supervision.
