Each year, a limited number of beautification grants will be awarded on a competitive basis. Applicants are encouraged to submit projects which use native plant species and can be incorporated into the school curriculum. Applicants must be a school, government, 501 (c) 3 Organization or a qualified organization that is willing to receive funds to be used for the project. All projects must be located in Charles County. 

Requirements of the project include the scope of the project, total cost, the amount you are requesting, and how you plan to match the requested funds. A photograph of your improvement area is also required. 

Each grant awarded is worth up to $1,000.00. All grants must be matched by the organization which may include cash, material, services, labor or a combination of resources.
