CONCRETE MIXER DRIVER -
Chaney Enterprises is currently accepting applications for Part-time and Full-time CDL Drivers to join our team as Concrete Delivery Professionals (CDP's). CDP's are responsible for the proper delivery of concrete products to our customers and for the safe and proper care and maintenance of equipment assigned to the delivery professional. Must have a Class B CDL (with airbrakes), a clean driving record and a good employment history. MUST BE FLEXIBILE TO TRAVEL LOCALLY TO VARIOUS LOCATIONS AND WORK VARIOUS SHIFTS (SATURDAYS, DAY & NIGHTS) AS REQUIRED BY BUSINESS NECESSITY. Must be able to pass a DOT physical. Must be able to climb and be able to lift up to 100 lbs. pounds several times daily. Must be able to read, write and interpret directions/read a map.
CONCRETE PLANT MANAGER - Concrete Plant Managers are needed immediately for the Annapolis location. Primary duties include overseeing the plant operations for the concrete facility. This includes coordinating and monitoring workloads, supervising drivers, yard/batch operators, and any other direct reports. The Concrete Plant Manager hires, trains, develops, supervises, and motivates employees towards accomplishing departmental and company goals & objectives. Plant Managers assist sales & customer service/dispatch in servicing customers, and coordinating schedules. The position requires experience with concrete operations, batch panels, scales, testing equipment, and the availability to work on Saturdays. Preferred experience includes supervisory/management background, computer proficiency, and knowledge of government regulations pertaining to health, safety, and the environment.

TECHNICAL SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE - CHANEY ENTERPRISES -
CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE/DISPATCHER - We are currently seeking a motivated and detail oriented CUSTOMER SERVICE PROFESSIONAL to join our Customer Service Center. This position contributes to the success of Chaney Enterprises by ensuring flawless execution in the scheduling and delivery of orders. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; taking customer orders and entering them into the dispatch system, reviewing information with customers to ensure accuracy, scheduling/dispatching trucks appropriately to delivery sites, and monitoring truck activity via the GPS system and radio to ensure timely delivery of orders. The CSR/Dispatcher must communicate on a daily basis with management, sales, safety, delivery professionals, plant personnel, and other customer service staff members to coordinate resources and to resolve customer complaints and problems. Requires a strong attention to detail and effective interpersonal skills. Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a high stress, fast paced environment. Must have high school education or equivalent and basic computer skills. Prior dispatching experience and/or experience in the concrete industry desired.
INTERN - HUMAN RESOURCES/RECRUITING - The Human Resources Intern will provide direct assistance to the HR Manager and to the Recruiter in support of recruiting initiatives. This will include posting jobs, applicant tracking, participating in recruiting events/job fairs, performing background checks, searching and screening applications, interviewing, etc. Must be able to operate standard office equipment such as computers, copiers, facsimile machines, etc. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel. Must be Mature, well spoken with good command of English language. Enthusiastic, pleasant, organized. Ability to work in sometimes stressful and hectic environment. Flexible and able to adapt to an ever-changing environment. Must pay strict attention to Detail. Dependable. Able to think through problems and work through issues.
