Chaney Enterprises continues a company and family tradition, hosting the 2011 Back Yard Bull Roast on October 22, at the Waldorf Mix Plant. This year’s proceeds will support the American Cancer Society.

”Each year we take pride in offering the Back Yard Bull Roast as a day for our customers, employees and the community to enjoy a nice, family-friendly day with fresh-cooked food, games and activities for all ages,” said William F. Childs, IV, president of Chaney Enterprises.
Tickets include all-you-can-eat fresh barbeque ribs, beef and hot dogs on the open pit, oysters, potato salad, cole slaw, baked beans, garden salad, beverages donated by the Coca Cola Bottling Co., and beer.

This year, attendees can enjoy games and activities for all ages, including cornhole, fun interactive Chip Shot Golf, 5-in-1 Sports Moonbounce, music by DJ Nick V, dancing and Chaney’s Bull Roast favorites, the popular 32-foot rock climbing wall and Big-6 Wheel.

This year’s bull roast sponsors include Construction Risk Solutions, Bohler Engineering, The Wills Group, the College of Southern Maryland, and LaFarge-Cement Division.

Tickets are still only $50 for adults; $25 for youth ages 6-12 years; and no cost for children under 6 years. For tickets and information, contact Sherry Santana, community relations specialist at 301-932-5665, or e-mail: bullroast@ChaneyEnterprises.com.
