News - Jan Holt Joins Chaney Enterprises as Chief Customer Officer

           Chaney Enterprises announces the selection of Jan Holt as its new chief customer officer to the CE management team. Holt brings years of diverse experience in marketing, communications, research, training and strategic development.

            “We are very pleased to have such a self-motivated, driven and highly capable professional on the Chaney management team, and expect our staff and customers will benefit from her skills and knowledge,” said William F. Childs, president and CEO of Chaney Enterprises.

            Holt previously served as chief marketing officer and vice president of sales for The Brick Companies in Edgewater, MD. During her tenure, Holt launched the rebranding of Washington Brick and Terra Cotta Companies as The Brick Companies, monitored markets, customer research and industry trends analysis, and collaborated with the CEO in development and communication of the companies’ vision and growth strategy.  She also served as vice president of marketing for Atlantic Golf in Edgewater.

            Holt began her professional career at the corporate headquarters of Outback Steakhouse in Tampa, FL. While at Outback Steakhouse, Holt became operations and marketing manager where she managed brand and public relations, vendor coordination and training. She planned and coordinated more than 500 events across 20 states.

            As chief customer officer, Holt will direct all sales, marketing and technical services activities, product lines, dispatch operations; The Concrete Store and retail sales while promoting 100% customer satisfaction and ensuring the profitability of Chaney Enterprises and its associated companies; C&D Concrete on the Eastern Shore and Rowe Concrete in Fredericksburg, VA.

            Holt volunteers with the Boys and Girls Club of America, Special Olympics of Maryland and Chesapeake Bay Area Charities. She is also an active member Chief Executives Working Together (TEC) and the American Marketing Association Mentor Program.
