News - Gallimore Elected to State Association Board of Directors
Jessica E. Gallimore, Marketing Manager of Chaney Enterprises, was recently elected as a member of the 2005 Maryland Ready Mix Concrete Association Board of Directors (MRMCA). She will take on this industry role immediately after passing on her torch as the Chairman of the Maryland Ready Mix Concrete Association Promotion Council at the end of January. During her 2 year term as Chairman her marketing and public relations skill set lead this council in a strong objective to increase market share within the construction industry. She was recently recognized at the 2004 MRMCA Annual Meeting for her outstanding leadership role in the growth and development of this nationally recognized council.
The MRMCA objectives are to focus on the enhancement of industry education, product promotion, certification, safety, and technical assistance. In her new role, Gallimore’s wealth of industry and marketing knowledge will enable her to provide insight on these objectives by applying current marketing trends, analyzing current educational standards, as well as evaluating the customer’s wants and needs to ensure product satisfaction. With all of this in mind, Gallimore’s election to this Board will allow her to be a viable voice for all Maryland Ready Mix Concrete Companies and their support affiliates. She will thoroughly enhance the goals of MRMCA by promoting the use of quality ready mix concrete as a durable construction material.
