Chaney Welcomes Osvaldo

Chaney Enterprises is excited to announce the appointment of Osvaldo "Ozzie" Diaz as the Vice President and General Manager (VPGM) of Chaney Terminals and Transit (CT&T). This strategic move aligns with Chaney Enterprises' commitment to fortifying its leadership team and expanding its capabilities in terminals and transportation operations.

CT&T, a recently formed division, now encompasses Chaney Enterprises' terminal assets, and assumes responsibility for the company's transportation operations, including the dump truck division, tanker hauling network, and bulk logistics.

Ozzie Diaz, with over 17 years of industry experience, brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role. In the months leading up to his appointment, Ozzie served as an independent consultant, providing valuable insights into raw material production and internal distribution plans. His industry background and strategic vision will play a crucial role in driving the expansion efforts of CT&T.

Beginning January 1, Ozzie will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of terminals and logistics across all regions.

Prior to joining Chaney Enterprises, Ozzie Diaz had a distinguished career, including a tenure at Martin Marietta Materials following their acquisition of Lehigh Hanson's West Region assets. Before that, he spent 15 years at Lehigh Hanson, where he served as VPGM of Central California, overseeing Asphalt, Ready Mix, and Aggregates operations.

Ozzie holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and an MBA from Wayne State College in Wayne, Nebraska. He, along with his wife Fara and their three children Abby, Oscar, and Maya, will be relocating to the Maryland area.

"We are excited to welcome Ozzie Diaz to the Chaney family. His extensive industry experience and strategic acumen make him a valuable addition to our team as we continue to strengthen our presence in terminals and transit operations," said Ryan Jacoby, Chief Operating Officer at Chaney Enterprises.
